Over the weekend, we set up a booth at the West Coast Cannabis Expo at The Cow Palace (weird name for a venue, eh?), near San Francisco. The show was a big success! Grand Daddy Purp had a great time meeting new patients and giving out samples of our Ken’s Grand Daddy and our new High Times Cannabis Cup winning Sativa, Bay11. Our booth always had a line of patients waiting to get their hands on samples and learn more about our superior strains.
The Expo had a great Prop 215 area, where exhibitors like Grand Daddy Purp could show off their strains, edible, pipes, bongs, and other products. There are some excellent things being done with infusions cannabis into edibles and drinkables and it was nice to be able to see and sample some of the products. There were some beautiful medicated confections from Kiva, and I had a medicated slurpee that was delicious! All those great edibles made us really excited about our upcoming line of edibles and drinkables, Grand Daddy Purp Infusions!
The Expo also hosted some interesting panel discussions that included well-known activist and 2011 Freedom Fighter of the Year, Debby Goldsberry, and our very own Enie Cefalu, speaking about reform, marketing, and and the entrepreneurial side of running a medical marijuana collective.
